Development of an Interactive Instructional Design Package for Introductory Lessons on Congo Drums
Aim: To develop an interactive instructional kit for introductory lessons on Congo Drums. After using this package, the user is expected to identify, play and improvise upon the basic percussion beats.
Project Brief:
The project aims to develop an interactive instructional e-learning package to help the novice learn introductory lessons on Congo Drums. A digitally simulated e-version of the congo - "Virtual Congo" was created as a part of this e-package. It also contains learning and practicing tracks on digital Congo as well as hints and error feedback system.
Combine the therapeutic synergy of music and engaging instructional interaction to extend the applicability of the package to act as a morale boosting and pleasurable activity for teenagers with initial stages of stress or depression.
The Target User Group is primarily adolescents in the age group 12-18 years.
